LIBOR Names 2009 REALTOR®-Broker of the Year
Linda Bonarelli
December 2006 - Queens, NY - The prestigious 2009 Realtor®-Broker
of the Year Award was presented to Linda Bonarelli-Lugo, who owns Realty
Executives North Shore with two locations in Huntington. Last year's
recipient, Don Scanlon, was honored to present Linda with this award
during the recent Installation Gala held at the Crest Hollow Country
Club. Linda began her involvement at LIBOR in 1988 and since that time
has served on and chaired many LIBOR and MLS committees. She served as
LIBOR Treasurer in 2003 & 2004, Suffolk County Vice President in 2005,
President-Elect in 2006 and President in 2007. She also serves on the
MLS Board of Directors and will be serving as MLS Treasurer in 2010.
Linda believes that education and knowledge are the keys to success. She
holds the following NAR real estate designations: CRB, CRS, CIPS & GRI. It
is through education, hard work and having an entrepreneurial spirit
that Linda has been able to reach her current goals.
Linda is an avid animal lover and supports the Humane Society. She
is also an active supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network which
sends all locally raised funds to Schneider’s Children’s
Hospital. She feels that giving back is both fundamental and vital. Linda
is a long-time Island resident. She was born and raised in Baldwin
and she has been a resident of Huntington for the past 26 years. An
avid boater, she lives with her husband Otto Lugo and their three dogs.
