December 2008 - West Babylon, NY -
The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. (MLSLI™) has recently named a new Executive Committee. Leading the MLS of Long Island is incoming President Frank Dell’Accio. Frank was installed into office by his brother, Vincent Dell’Accio, both of Century 21 AA Realty, during the recent Installation Gala held at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
Frank began his real estate career in January 1976 working for his father at AA Realty in Massapequa, a start-up real estate company founded by Frank Sr. During that same year, AA Realty joined the newly formed Century 21 franchise & became Century 21 AA Realty. In May 1977 Century 21 AA Realty opened its Lindenhurst office. In 1978 they relocated their Massapequa office to Seaford. After selling for 2 years and completing several sales management courses, Frank began managing the Suffolk office. In 1982 Frank became a partner in the firm. Today he remains a managing partner at Century 21 AA Realty with his brother Vincent with offices in Lindenhurst and Seaford. Frank earned his CRB in 1983. He also holds the GRI, CRS and CBR designations. In 2006, Century 21 AA Realty was awarded the coveted 2100 Art Bartlett Cup which is awarded to only one Century 21 firm in the nation each year for sales production, leadership, community involvement and use of technology. Frank is also a recipient of the MLS Tasso Award.
Frank has served on and chaired MLS and LIBOR committees for over 25 years. He has served on the LIBOR Executive Committee as Secretary and as Suffolk County Vice President and is also a past NYSAR director. Frank has served on the MLS Executive Committee since 2003 as MLS Secretary and Suffolk Vice President.
Frank is actively involved in his community as sponsor of senior citizen centers in the Town of Babylon. He is a supporter for the NYS Parents as Reading Partners program in the Lindenhurst Schools and he volunteers in local school PTA’s as a liaison business member for the community. He is a member of the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce and was honored as Businessman of the Year by Lindenhurst Schools.
Frank and his wife Debbie reside in West Islip. They have two children, Christina and Steven. He remains thankful for his father’s guidance, trust and love that has brought him and his family many years of happiness and success as a member of the REALTOR® community.
